Pretty much my favorite town thus far... Certaldo Alta (old town of course on a hill!)
April 27th 2018 I have fallen in love with the tiny Town of Certaldo ,. The medieval town is on a hill with a climb that caused all of us...even the young ones...to pause and catch our breath!
The gelato was superb...perhaps the best we've had this trip. Lunch in a little hole-in-a-wall was wonderful...tried the local pasta -pici - with pecorino Romano cheese and pepper corns...delish!! A place of many weddin
