Originally Roman, rebuilt many times. Present bridge is probably built by the Ottomans in the 17th century. The town is supposedly scattered with ruins but we only made a brief stop on the way.

I always wanted to travel and left Australia when I was 18 to travel around Europe and Asia, working on the way in London and Amsterdam, before settling down in Tel Aviv.
