Trinidad Street Scenes

These are high school girls dressed in the blue uniform of high school students (middle school is yellow bottom-white top, elementary school is maroon bottom-white top). In Singapore, these girls would be suspended for wearing such short skirts. Interestingly, almost all the womens' uniforms I saw in Cuba featured short skirts. Many adults paired their short skirts with fishnet stockings, which seemed visually very odd to me. But, what do I know about womens' fashion?

Mission: Wee-Fee

I was excited to be on our way to Trinidad. Everyone I know who had been to Cuba raves about this town. The journey to Trinidad took about 1.5 hours.
