Alpine desert.

Gradual uphill slog, featureless and never ending the trek from Mawenzi to Kibo hut took a lot out of me both mentally and physically.

Kibo Hut Camp, Elevation 4750 meters.

Geo: -3.3346, 37.3473We rolled into Kibo huts camp at about 1330hrs and had some lunch straight away, to get there involved a 4 hour hike across the alpine desert which is both a rocky and massive expanse of nothing.
