... can grapes cost up to $360 USD each, with a bunch recently auctioned off for $11,000 USD! While these were far from that price, they were still prohibitively expensive at about $35 USD a bunch. High-end fruit in Japan may be aesthetically perfect, but we will never know if the taste could ever justify the price, since we can't bring ourselves to spend that much money.
