The Crowds of Topkapi Palace ...

... this was the lineup to go through security, whether or not you had the museum pass or had just bought a ticket. Imagine if you also had to lineup to actually buy the ticket first? This was also fairly soon after opening in the morning, when it is supposedly less busy.
