... in Italy, it's all about fresh ingredients - this was a bottle of local olive oil from this year's harvest which locals like to enjoy very simply, with a bowl of raw veggies. Interesting note - pretty much all olive oil we buy in North America is filtered and clear, but Southern Italians seem to believe that unfiltered particulates enhance the flavour of the olive oil.
