Bannack ghost town
A day in Dillon

This morning while it was still cool we visited nearby Bannack State Park. Bannack is a ghost town. It was a gold rush town that started in 1862 and was deserted by the 1940's. In fact it was the first territorial capital of Montana,which must have been a pretty wild place back then. The buildings are well preserved.
