In front of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Our guide had us join our hands telling us our fingers are like candles joined in an offering to Buddha. Because we are older then the young people who we are encountering as a form of respect they bow and join their hands in greeting us. The Buddha in this Temple is carved from one piece of Jade.
