Ko Lanta reaffirmed my faith in Thailands islands after a dissapointing Ko Pi Pi. I made sure that I got off the ferry and into a taxi sharpish after my expiriences with finding accomodation in Ko Pi Pi. I headed for long beach on the western side of the island as I had read it was the main backpacker area, I found my self a nice little beach bungalow for 400 bt a night fairly easily.
