We drove from Arnhem, Netherlands to Bitburg, Germany (about 3 1/2 hours), where we visited our German daughter, Jacky, and met her family. We toured the local Bitburg brewery and visited Trier, the oldest town in Germany, where there's a Roman gate from 200 AD and a cathedral from the 4th century.
