We arrived in Vancouver on the 11th and spent a few days shopping for snowboarding stuff (lots of bargains to be found!) before heading up to Whistler. Apart from the shopping and Stanley Park we didn't discover any other highlights in Vancouver just lots of mice (which lived in our hostel room!) and hobos.
