Day 19 - May 30, 2017 Denali National Park to Portage Creek, AK

Sadly we left Denali National Park today in a light rain and low cloud cover. We knew immediately we would not be seeing "Denali", but were not too disappointed as we had seen and had many shots of it on our last trip here in 2015. The Cat Herder Gold Rush

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired.
