Rolling Stone, our new to us trawler, is anchored in Georgian Bay awaiting the delayed opening of the Trent Severn Waterway. She was splashed this morning after 2 years on land. Everything seems to be working including the diesel furnace. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
