Pretty infertile, rocky looking soil. It is amazing that the Valencia orange groves do so well in this sort of soil.
We thought the streets of Valencia were bad NOTHING can compare to Granada - Day 8

We left Cartagena after a trip to the Optician. The mongrels that took my bag took my prescription sunglasses. It can be soooo bright here that I had to get clip-ons, not elegant but they do the job.
