Dala Dalas in Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Saturday, January 1, 2011 I've been living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for the past five months. Unlike most wazungu (foreigners), I don't have a car; to get around the city I use public transport. At night, or when it is raining, or when I have a heavy load of shopping, I take a taxi.
