It is now the Year New Year, The Year of the Pig. You cannot say you have experienced fireworks until you have experienced a Chinese New Year there is nothing quite like it. People setting off fireworks everywhere, in the street, on the sidewalk. I feel like this is the one good thing about living so far out. Fireworks are banned closer into town but not out here.
