This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where the first ever parliament met in 930 AD. Thingvellir is surrounded by a beautiful mountain and volcano range and is the site of a rift valley, where the tectonic plates meet.

3 Countries in 24 hours. What a day! After a full day of road tripping into Canada, then flying overnight to Reykjavik, Iceland, we spent only 15 minutes at our apartment before jetting off to do some sightseeing.
