We went to the Eiffel Tower at night....so beautiful. Some quick info on the tower: It was built in 1889 for the Universal Exhibition to commemorate the centennial of the Revolution. It is 1,063 feet high and was only meant to be a temporary structure during the event. Until 1931 it stood as the worlds tallest building when the Empire State Building was built.
