St Chapelle has been hailed as one of the greatest architectural masterpeices of the Western world. It was built in 1242. The stained glass is mesmerizing. There are 15 magnificent windows separated by pencil like columns soaring 50 feet to the star studded roof, 67 feet high by 34 feet wide.
