I couldn't head back to Los Angeles without visiting the Grand Canyon. It was a horrible drive from Las Vegas, but the view made up for that. I was going to stop at Hoover Dam along the way, but it was completely crowded with tourists and there were no parking spaces left anyway. Besides that, the heat was eating me alive.
