In July of 2011, we made the decision to leave our comfortable jobs in Northern California to see the world. We weren’t sure where we were going to go or how long we would be gone, but we wanted an adventure and we knew we could find it if we looked carefully enough. Belgium - agree that it is surprisingly nice
We totally agree that Belgium is surprisingly nice place. It seems to us like Belgium is a hidden gem, hidden in plain sight. We went to Belgium because we wanted to see the really strange villages Baarle-Hertog and Baarle-Nassau (do have a look at our blogs from there if you haven't heard of them). After that we spent a few days road tripping in Belgium and we loved it. /Ake

Surprising...
We really thought Belgium was a nice place. All the things that everyone loves about Europe in one place. We had not heard of these other places and will read your blogs about them.
