Z Fort Bragg pojechaliśmy dalej na północ do krainy, gdzie miasta mają fantastyczne nazwy, jak Eureka, Petrolia czy Arcata. Celem naszej podróży było Ferndale, wiktoriańskie miasteczko żywcem wyjęte z westernu, łącznie ze zdobionymi skrzynkami na poczcie i ręcznie malowanymi szyldami.
