Day 7: Figeac

So this morning I woke up feeling really sick. I could hardly get out of bed. Unfortunately, it was also the day we had to practice the grand oritorio Stabat Mater by Antonin Dvorak. This piece is only about 2 hrs, however it is so slow and so sad that it seems 3 times as long as it really is. This piece was written by Dvorak after the death of his mother.
