In July of 2011, we made the decision to leave our comfortable jobs in Northern California to see the world. We weren’t sure where we were going to go or how long we would be gone, but we wanted an adventure and we knew we could find it if we looked carefully enough. Poland - not to be missed
You wrote "I don’t think Poland is high on the list of most travelers’ itineraries, but it should be." We say exactly the same thing to people whenever we have the chance. Poland is sadly underrated as a travel destination. It is cheap, the food is good, travel is easy and safe and there is heaps to see and to do. /Ake

I'm surprised I didn't see more backpackers! I would think with the prices of Italy-France-England that lots of people would be touring here. We are in Ukraine now, which is harder to travel in but VERY inexpensive. Thanks for writing!
