Today I am heading south from Kataia to the Hokiangi region and the small towns of Opononi and Omapere. It was raining as I left so not only do I have to deal with the narrow, windy roads, but to add the excitement, I now have to deal with the "Slippery When Wet" narrow, windy roads.
