Today is a travel day, first bussing it from Taupo back to Auckland on another Golden $1 Ticket and then catching a flight due south to Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island. Driver Rameesh, with an impressive moustache, welcomes us on board and goes through the Intercity rules which include having no hot, greasy food or hot drinks on board.
