Children "Monks" or "Nen"

Thai Children Monks, often called "nen" at the Temple of Mae Hong Son. Many poor or orphaned children in Thailand become ordained in order to gain an education or as an alternative to being placed in an orphanage.

Our first stop along the way was a visit to a World War II museum named the Thailand-Japan Friendship Memorial.
