Dinner time

September 1st 2015
Left our anchorage early with a beautiful sunrise. Waited 2 hours at the first lock which is the longest wait yet. Nothing to do but sit around and have a nice omellette for breakfast. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
