Today we all dressed in our Canada gear, as it was the opening ceremony. There were 14 other countries participating in the festival. This year there are three Canadian groups, including a fiddler group from Victoria, BC and a marimba group. It was a well presented ceremony. Ciao! Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra (TASSO) is touring Italy! Since the beginning of this year, TASSO has been preparing for our 2023 trip to Italy where we will be performing in Tuscany, Cremona, Mondaino, Todi and Roma. We are very excited and feel privileged to be representing Canada once again on the world stage.
