Stawamus Chief Mountain
is the second largest free-standing granite outcropping in the world, after the Rock of Gibraltar. The granite dome, adjacent to the town of Squamish, towers over 700 m (2,297 ft) above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is popular for rock climbing, bouldering & mountain biking.
