You've not traveled until you've been to India!
I've read this more than once, so congrats on taking the overwhelming sensory plunge! Brilliant that you went with your trusted tour company, and so got such a variety of experiences and tastes without spending extra days in planning. It also sounds like a great idea to spend time in the rural areas, as opposed to just the big cities where I imagine a lot of tourists go. Thanks for the superb photos--a head wobble to you both.

Re: You've not traveled until you've been to India!
Thanks Tara. I agree that India is a unique travel destination, but I don't totally agree with that saying. I think any travel is good travel... :) As much as we love cities, we wouldn't be satisfied with visiting a country and only going to cities and big towns - we like checking out as broad a spectrum of the country as possible. I'm picturing a happy smiley head wobble from you, and I give you a happy smiley head wobble right back! Thanks for following this trip xx
