Low tide

At low tide the beach goes on and on like this. The tide was starting to come back in and with the beach so shallow, it changes from sand to water very quickly.

Whitsunday Islands - Arrival

No one was happy at the 5:45 wake-up call, but there is only one daily non-stop to the Whitsunday islands and we didn’t want to miss the plane.
