Leaving Venice for Split Croatia starts with 40 minute water taxi to Venice airport. Very busy airport, advisable to leave heaps of time to check in. First we get a smaller plane to Vienna and then we change to Split. We walk through the departure gate to discover a bus will take us to the other side of the airport to our plane.
