Well here we are at Hotel 81 Heritage in Kampong Glam, in the Malaysian /Arab quarter of Singapore, a small hotel in a former "shop house" and close to Bugis. Good overnight flight across from NZ, arrived before 7am so spent the morning pottering around the area till check in. Interesting district with lots of history and nice architecture. Travels with Kate and Blu

We travelled around Australia in 2008 in a 4WD and caravan, a wonderful trip over 11 months and 50,000 km! In 2013 we embarked on another adventure, travelling through Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, then whipped through central Europe to the UK and Ireland, a trip of 6 months. ( still some chapters to write up 2 years on). Not sure what is next..... 2015. What came next was a 3 month trip to the UK, with the main goal being to walk 300 km across England on Wainwrights Coast to Coast route!
