I started this blog in late 2007, before heading off to Australia for a hang gliding adventure. After my first solo flight in a hang glider all I wanted to do was fly as much as possible. I gave up my job as a human resources consultant and headed to Australia to live my dream of hang gliding. The Good Life!
Your life sounds wonderful--a cleansing holiday in the countryside, then a walk across an island in solitude and now a gorgeous, preserved old city! One thing I particularly liked about German cities was being able to climb church towers for the views--here in South American, you can rarely do that. Thanks also for including a map--I love that!

Only today I was thinking how blessed I am to have the opportunity to see so much of our beautiful world. I often have this thought and I am very grateful. And just like you I like climbing church towers. Hope you are doing well - still in Cordoba?

Peru now
Hi Katha, I moved from Cordoba a couple of years ago--I've just been lazy about blogging. Since then, I've been in Bolivia and now in Arequipa, Peru, for about a year. Hopefully, I'll share some adventures soon. You are so good at getting your blogs out in a timely manner--well-done!
