That village/those two villages (which is it? one village or two? I don't know...) is so fascinating. All we did was walking around trying to find all the oddities. Before they had the Euro as a common currency they strictly used Guilder in the Dutch areas and strictly Franc in the Belgian areas. Not like in other border areas where often both currencies are widely accepted. Ake
