Dingo on beach

Dingoes look harmless when alone and faced with a number of people but are likely to attack people when alone. The locals are advised to carry large sticks when walking along the beach for protection.

Thu 16 April we took the 7.30 am Greyhound to Hervey Bay. We arrived at lunchtime and were picked up by the hostel transport Colonial Village, Hervey Bay. The hostel was quite quirky with Peacocks and other birds wandering free, a pond and a swimming pool.
