BRADSHAW TRAIL

The Bradshaw Trail was an overland shortcut that connected Los Angeles to the newly found gold fields at La Paz. The photo shows where the trail descended into the Palo Verde Valley to the SE of Blythe. The gold mines were located in the mountains visible on the horizon.
