Day 8 - Travel Day - Siem Reap to Phuket

Another pretty uneventful travel day. Our flight leaves Siem Reap around 9:30am.. one three hour layover in Bangkok.. another short hop and we're in Phuket.... which I may call "Phueyket" unless things change. Sure - its gorgeous, beautiful, tropical... but do any Thai people live here - all i can see is tourists everywhere.. lots of Germans, Brits and Americans. Oh well - make the best of ... read more

A few years ago I stepped back, took a look at my life and realized I wanted to broaden my horizons...what better way to do this than through travel?? Along with some very good friends, I've since traveled to Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Mexico.. but this blog will start with our biggest trip yet.. a monthlong jaunt through Southeast Asia. Feel free to tag along as we bumble our way through big cities, small villages, jungles, a plethora of temples and of course..12 days on a luxury catamaran.. I can't wait!!
