Enjoying my vicarious adventure You all sound like your having a great time! I read the last few entries and am very envious about all the buddha sites. I just finished reading Hermann Hesse, Sidhartha. Well...here in Austin I have been ice bound for three days between a cold front and El Nino storms but the warmth of your descriptive adventures are melting the icicles off my front porch. Ya'll rock...have lots of fun....OH AMY...go ahead...I want to hear about the real annoying bodily functions...not really...save it for later....
Tripping with you Love reading your blog...first one I have ever read, actually! It is just so exciting to read about everything you all are doing, the places you have been, the pictures and your wonderful descriptions, Amy. We live vicariously through Keely and this trip seems to truly be an adventure of a lifetime. Keep safe and have fun...I can't imagine you (all) doing anything else!! Judy/Momma
Go Amy! Sounds like you're having a blast. Hong Kong sounded amazing! Can't wait to see it for myself someday. And I love your bit about the donations in Cambodia. I wish I had of known about that before I went. Hope you really enjoy your catamaran ride (like you wouldn't).
Can't wait to hear more about your trip. Cathy
1 year prep and THIS??? I can't believe you people, supposed to be responsible professionals, could miss an item like number/size carry-ons; jeeeez! ;>) Hope y'all are having fun; just thought I should warn you that they're prepping for a military coup in Bangkok. That should be lots of fun! Take lots of pictures for us, won't you? Kind of like "The Killing Fields," isn't it?
A few years ago I stepped back, took a look at my life and realized I wanted to broaden my horizons...what better way to do this than through travel?? Along with some very good friends, I've since traveled to Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Mexico.. but this blog will start with our biggest trip yet.. a monthlong jaunt through Southeast Asia. Feel free to tag along as we bumble our way through big cities, small villages, jungles, a plethora of temples and of course..12 days on a luxury catamaran.. I can't wait!! This should be interesting!... full info
