Rosie the Goanna

Rosie was loose in the Reptile Centre and was enjoying basking in the sun coming through the window. She then decided it was time to go outside except the sign on the door said don't let her out but don't pick her up either. It was quite a challenge getting out to the external displays!

The day started badly with a very expensive visit to the doctor - $80 and I only got $37 back. They don’t bulk bill out here. Yes. Don't faint - he's been wearing them for weeks, ever since it got really hot in Darwin. He went back into jeans for a few days once we got to Port Augusta but now we're in Mildura he's back in them again. He actually has a bit of a tan on them! First time since I've known him.
