Town Hall Ruins

This once imposing building was built in 1883 and survived 92 years and several cyclones but was devastated in Cyclone Tracy. The ruins were stabilised and now stand as a memorial to the events of that night.

Leaving Mary River at 10am we set off for Darwin and drove straight to Robbie’s Reserve, about 20kms south of the city, right next to Darwin Prison.
