August 27th 2014 'It's just you and the creatures now', said Juan Carlos as he waved goodbye. The air was loaded with sound. We could see nothing, but knew that life was all around us. What a great adventure you've painted with your magic words. Great photos, but really it's your amazing writing that brings this all alive; the tiny owl monkeys "huge eyes peeping worriedly beneath white brows"--I recognized the photo immediately. So glad you got to be intimate with that illusive sloth you've been seeking. The jungle lodge seemed massively expensive (to me), but oh, so worth it. Glad you had a fab time!
