The beauty of Romania
What a grand room. As always your word pictures draw us in and make us want to book at trip to this amazing country next week. It will have to wait for a while for us but we will add it to our list. I assume you didn't see any bears while in or near the forest or we would have had a story about that. The Smokey Mountains in the U.S. has a lot of black bears and it is not uncommon to see one as you drive through the mountains. The churches and palaces you've described and photographed are wonderful. I love going in churches and appreciating the architecture. Not sure I would have made it to the top of that unsteady staircase but I would have sent Dave to the top to either take pictures for me or describe it to me.
