A fine, final holiday!
After your whirlwind tour of Peru and Bolivia and the snow back home, I'm so glad you had a nice warm, sunny rest at your gorgeous resort! I'm sure I'll never stay at such a luxurious spot, so it was lovely to enjoy it vicariously through you. Too bad they've roped off the temples. I climbed up the back of the Pyramid of the Sun when I was there on the Equinox one year to see tens of thousands of people looking up at me--the Mayan priestess. I guess those days are over.

I learned that Mayans had priestesses...
but glad that you weren't there to sacrifice anyone. That must have been amazing to be the center of attention of all those people on such an iconic spot. The reason the ruins are now off limits is because of the misbehavior of a few tourists...chipping souvenirs and spraying graffiti...ruining it for everyone...pardon the pun.
