Emperor Tomb

The emperors built their tombs outside of town and some are magnificent. This one is built on the hill side and is a mix of architecture, with some materials imported from Europe.

Hue was the political capital of Vietnam between 1802 and 1945. Today is is a Unsesco World Heritage site, with the main attractions being the tombs of the Nguyen emperors and the remains of its citadel.
