We landed in San Jose, Costa Rica on Christmas Eve, 2013. We spent the night at a hotel in San Jose. We didn't explore the city, but saw neon nativity scenes everywhere, and fireworks were going off throughout the night. I guess that's how they celebrate Christmas in Costa Rica.
