Even With the Wonky GPS We Somehow Knew We Were Nearing Paris

We reached the outskirts earlier than expected. Instead of going straight to our modern hotel near DeGaulle Airport we decided to take a detour to Versailles in the slight hope it might be open. I certainly wasn't going to drive into downtown Paris.
