Day 103 - to Atherstone - 100 miles from London, Liverpool and Lincoln.

9 locks, 424 in total. The Atherstone flight of 11 locks is a joy – everything works as it should and the whole area is well-kempt, even all the stone steps; it gave Toni and Stewart the wrong impression of the difficulty of some locks.
